Last summer, I had the pleasure of creating the illustration for an Andalusian-themed festival organised by Marsivoglia - La Feira del Popolo - which took place in Avesa, in the heart of the Veronese hills.

Between rumba and flamenco, decorated ceramics, sunshine and a festive spirit, I interpreted the colours and created some iconic illustrations to evoke the Andalusian theme.

Watercolour was the main technique used, with a contemporary twist.

The colour palette was inspired by the tiles of the Alhambra, a monumental complex of palaces and fortresses in Granada, Andalusia, Spain.

A celebration of Italy, Spain and the colourful influences of the Mediterranean life through vibrant and light-hearted communication.
